Calle 23 Brings Cuban Flair to Coral Gables

There’s a new happy hour hangout in town: Calle 23 Miami. Having opened in the beginning of March, they had to shut down just weeks later. But since their grand reopening in May, it’s been back to socially distanced business.

Enjoy Patrón Silver margaritas ($7) or shots ($5), and $25 Corona buckets all day on Wednesday, May 5. Salsa Night will be accompanied by  $7 mojitos starting at 7 p.m.

Paliouras and Sotiropoulos noticed most of the Cuban restaurants in the area were casual. “We thought there was no upscale Cuban place with live entertainment,” says Sotiropoulos. Menu items include croquetas, grilled octopus and churrasco. There is also a live band Friday and Saturday nights.

Relax on the Mile with Calle 23’s daily happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m Sip on $4 beers, $5 wines, or $7 cocktails, as well as $4 empanadas, and $6 flank steak tostones or ham croquettes.
